JANICE HARLAND
BARRISTER

Janice Harland is a litigation lawyer, with extensive knowledge and specialisation in child law and relationship property. This can involve negotiating separation agreements or representing your interests in court. Janice was admitted to the bar in 1988, and has since then built an extensive career, practising principally in family law. She was a Partner at Brookfields Lawyers.

Janice is also experienced with pre nuptial or contracting out agreements for couples entering into subsequent relationships. She has presented papers and seminars on the aspects of Domestic Violence Act and Relationship Property law, including a LexisNexis seminar on relationship property agreements in 2013. She also works closely with community based organisations in the family law area.

Janice was also the winner of the Family Law Award in 2008 and in 2010.
